Ballarat and District Aboriginal Cooperative

The Ballarat and District Aboriginal Cooperative (BADAC) provides free alcohol and other drug support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Services provided are culturally sensitive and based on the social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB) framework.

Services include:

  •     Assessment and Referral

  •     Education and counselling

  •     Support for effected families and carers

  •     Links to other community support services

  •     Community education

  •     AOD Peer Support Recovery Group – “Stronger Brothers Stronger Sisters”
